Black Patent Court Shoes, Well Worn, Dirty Insoles, UK 5, Worn Barefoot
These have been on my feet more times than I can count. You can see it.
Black patent round toe courts by Principles, UK 5. The exterior still holds that polished shine but the insoles tell the real story. Visibly marked, darkened at the heel and ball of the foot, scuffed where my toes have pressed in over and over again. Patent doesn't breathe. It seals everything in, traps heat flat against skin, and these have had hours of that with nothing between my feet and the lining.
I wear these barefoot every time. No tights, no socks, nothing. Just skin against the insole from the moment they go on. The marks you can see are the result of that. Every print, every smudge, every darkened patch is contact. The toe box runs warm first and it builds from there, nowhere to go, sealed under glossy black patent all day.
These aren't pristine. They were never meant to stay that way.
