Hot pink patent with a lime green platform and yellow stiletto heel. Peep toe. These are not subtle and they were never meant to be. The patent is scuffed across the toes and sides from hard use, the yellow heels are chipped and peeling from nights out, and the soles are filthy. You can see exactly how many floors these have walked across.
I wear these barefoot. Patent doesn't breathe and these are no exception. Three colours of glossy sealed material trapping everything from the moment my foot slides in. The insoles are visibly worn and darkened where my toes and heels have pressed into them over and over. The peep toe lets you see just enough, my toes sitting right at the edge, while everything behind that opening stays sealed in heat.
The outside is loud. Bright, bold, impossible to ignore. The inside is quiet, warm, and very used. That contrast is what makes these worth having.
