Nike Floral Print Pool Sliders, White Footbed, Well Worn Barefoot
Flowers on the strap. Footprints on the sole. Guess which one you're here for.
Nike sliders with a purple, blue, and pink floral rose print strap and a white moulded footbed. The strap still looks bold. The footbed doesn't. The white rubber has yellowed and darkened from repeated barefoot wear, the ridges that were once crisp and clean now flattened and stained where my feet have pressed into them over and over. White hides nothing and these have stopped trying.
I wear these barefoot. Around the house, in the garden, after the gym, out of the shower. The moulded footbed has ridges that run the full length and every one of them has had bare skin grinding into it. Rubber doesn't absorb. It keeps everything sitting on the surface, sealed against the texture, concentrated in the grooves. The arch support has taken my shape. The heel cup has darkened. The toe area where my feet press forward as I walk is the dirtiest part.
The floral strap says Nike. The footbed says mine.
