Nude sheer knee highs with a band at the top. Thin, smooth, almost invisible against skin. The kind you forget you're wearing until you peel them off and realise what they've been holding onto all day. Nylon doesn't absorb. It has no weave to pull anything into. Everything sits on the surface, concentrated, sealed against the outside of my skin with nowhere to soak away.
I wear these all day. The sheer fabric wraps my feet, ankles, and calves from toe to knee with nothing between the nylon and my skin. The toe collects first. Then the sole, where my foot presses flat against the nylon for hours. The band at the top holds tight just below my knee, sealing the warmth in along the full length. By the end of the day the nylon is carrying everything the surface of my skin has given it.
They look clean. They look delicate. What they're holding doesn't match what they look like and that's exactly the point.
