I'll describe what I'm holding. The sound it makes before it lands. The pause between each one where you wait and wonder if the next is coming or if I'm just letting the fear build. My voice stays controlled the entire time. Calm. Measured. That's what makes it worse. You'd rather I shouted. I won't give you that.
