Black Leather Mid-Calf Stiletto Boots, Pointed Toe, Slouch Fit, Well Worn Barefoot
Soft leather and a sharp heel. The combination that makes these dangerous.
Black leather mid-calf boots with a pointed toe, inner zip, and a slouched fit that sits loose around the ankle and calf. The leather has softened from years of wear, creased and folded where it falls naturally against my leg. The toes are scuffed and the heels are marked. These have been worn hard and they show it the way leather always does, honestly and without apology.
I wear these barefoot. The leather lining has had nothing between it and my skin for every hour they've been on my feet. Leather absorbs. It moulds. It takes the shape of my foot and holds onto everything it's given. The insoles have darkened and pressed flat under repeated wear. The toe box is where it concentrates, pointed and tight, my toes pressed together while the slouched shaft sits warm and loose against my calves above.
Tight where it matters, loose where it doesn't. The leather knows the difference even if you don't.
