Black patent from toe to thigh. High gloss exterior, slick and sealed, trapping everything underneath. Stiletto heel, pointed toe, lace-up back threaded through gold eyelets all the way up. These boots don't breathe. They were never meant to. Patent holds heat flat against skin and keeps it there, hour after hour, building slowly with nowhere to go.
I wear these barefoot. No socks, no stockings, nothing between my skin and the lining. My feet slide in and the warmth starts immediately. By the time I sit down, the inside of these boots is a different climate to the outside. The soles show the wear. The insoles have taken my shape. The toe box is where it concentrates most, sealed tight, pressed together, heat curling upward through the shaft.
The lace-up back pulls them tight to my legs. Not loose, not relaxed. Tension from ankle to thigh, patent pressing against calves and knees the entire time. That contact line runs the full length of my leg and every inch of it is doing something.
