Floral Sequin Ballet Flats with Gold Trim and Worn Insoles Pretty little things with a dirty secret

Floral print ballet flats by Atmosphere with sequin overlay and gold metallic trim around the edge. Pink roses, green leaves, all covered in tiny clear sequins that catch the light. They look delicate. They look innocent. The insoles say otherwise.

The tan footbed is darkened and shaped to my feet. You can see where my toes pressed, where my heel sat, where the warmth built up over hours of barefoot wear. Sequin fabric over floral print means zero breathability. Everything my feet gave off stayed locked inside that pretty little shell.

The gold trim is wearing down at the back where my heel slipped in and out. The lining has taken on that soft lived in look that only comes from skin on fabric, day after day.

They look like something a good girl would wear. They smell like something else entirely.
