Lemon Print Elle Sport Pool Sliders, White Footbed, Worn Barefoot
Fresh lemons on a footbed that hasn't been fresh in a long time.

The print is cheerful, summery, the kind of thing that looks clean from a distance. Up close the white footbed is marked and darkened where my bare feet have pressed into it. The textured rubber shows every imprint the smooth surface wouldn't.
I wear these barefoot. Pool sliders mean bare wet feet, hot pavements, showers, changing rooms, garden paths. The wide strap holds across the top of my foot while the entire sole sits open and exposed. Rubber doesn't absorb. It holds everything on the surface, concentrated, sealed flat against the textured footbed. The white background shows the use the way white always does, honestly and without mercy.
The lemons look fresh. The footbed tells you they're not the only thing that's been sitting there.
