Nude patent is deceptive. It looks understated. Elegant. The kind of heel you'd wear to mean business without announcing it. What it actually is, is patent leather that doesn't breathe pressed tight against a bare foot for hours with nowhere for any of the heat to go. The pointed toe pushes the foot forward, compressing everything into the front of the shoe. The stiletto heel lifts the arch, shifts the weight, changes how the whole foot sits inside the shoe.
