Black leather knee highs with a pointed toe and stiletto heel. Inner zip from ankle to calf, leather softened and creased from repeated wear. The scuffs across the toe box and sides tell you these aren't display pieces. They've been worn hard, worn often, and worn barefoot every single time.
Leather absorbs everything. It takes the shape of my foot, moulds to my arch, darkens where my skin presses into it. The lining inside these boots has had nothing between it and me for hours at a time. No socks, no tights, just heat building inside leather that holds onto everything it's given. The pointed toe pushes my toes together and that's where it concentrates first. Then the heel, then the shaft pressed warm against my calves all the way up to the knee.
